Peter Mukhama Kiondo is a Pharmacologist / Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from University of Saugar MP India, an MSc. Pharmacology degree from Makerere University, Kampala and Post Graduate IAEA Fellow from Bhabha Atomic Research Center, Mumbai, India. He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Faculty of Health Sciences Busitema University. His research has been carried out in a number of research such as (1) A Search for the Antibacterial Activity in the Extracts of a plant Microglossa Pyrifolia, (2) Infection of Water Hyacinth with Cassava Mosaic Virus for its Possible Total Eradication, (3) Labeling of Phosphonoformate Derivatives with 99mTechnetium for Possible Bone Imaging, (4) Extraction of Mondia whitei Root for Use in flavoring Alcoholic Drinks and in Higher Concentrations as an Aphrodisiac. He has been lecturing and supervising a number of undergraduate pharmacy students in various topics in radiopharmacy at the Department of Pharmacy Makerere University and Mbarara University of Science and Technology. He is a member of Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda, and currently a Supervising Pharmacist in the Production of Sanitizers from natural products in Busitema University.
